The Cycle Hub opened in September 2022 as a £1.55 million project backed by the Places to Ride fund (British Cycling, Sport England and DCMS) and Manchester City Council. Alongside the pump track it has a learn-to-ride area, skills zones in open and forest terrain, and a shared family trail around the park.[4][2]
